The Armenia Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) was established in March 2021 with the support of the United States Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) in collaboration with the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDCP) and National Institute of Health of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Economy and Food Safety Inspection Body (FSIB) of the Republic of Armenia.
FETP Intermediate Cohort 1 training began on January 30 2023 at the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia.
FETP Frontline Cohort 4 training began on 19 September 2022. 14 trainees were selected from NCDCP, FSIB and MoE at both the Yerevan and Marz Levels.
